June 8 - 15, 1985 - 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, & 57

4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 - Fort Wilderness Campground - Walt Disney World, Florida - site #1615 - lots of trees - very nice -
First night went to trading post, bought tickets, looked over beach - basketball goals are furnished with basketballs.  free transportation everywhere.
Second day - went to Magic Kingdom from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm - somewhat hot, but lots to do.  Rode jungle boat ride & saw electrical parade (twice each) plus other things.
Third day - rented car - went to Sea World - saw shows by killer whales, skiers, dolphins, seals & otters - it rained late in the day after all the shows - hot but good.
Fourth day - Epcot Center - went to all major attractions in Futureland (Journeys in the Imagination, Horizons, Horizons (second time), The Universe of Energy, Spaceship Earth, World of Motion, Land) plus three countries (Canada, Great Britain, France).
Fifth day - day of rest - went swimming at beach - went shopping in Orlando - went for a walk - went to electric water pageant on beach and fireworks show - stopped for pizza & arcade.
Sixth day - Magic Kingdom - Fantasyland - rode Small World, Snow White's Adventures, Peter Pan's Flight, Mr Toad's Wild Ride - Tomorrowland - rode Mission to Mars, If You Had Wings, Wedway People Mover - bought video tape in photo store on Main Street - went to Walt Disney Movies - Adventureland - went thru Tree House, rode Jungle Cruise, rode Pirates of the Caribbean - Liberty Square - rode riverboat - watched Electrical Parade - rode over on water boat - rode back on ferry & bus - watched fireworks from beach.
Seventh day - shopping at Disney Village & golf at Lake Buena Vista Course.
Eighth day - Epcot - Journey into the Imagination, Backstage Magic, Mexico - CPH & JJH visited other countries - JHH & JPH went to Horizons & Spaceship Earth & back to campground.  CPH & JJH went to movie (Sword in the Stone) - JHH, JJH & JPH went to get pizza & play arcade games.

June 7, 1985 - 49

3 - Outdoor Resort, Inc., Jennings, Florida - site #39 - full hookups - lots of tall pines - lake - some palm trees.

June 6, 1985 - 48

2 - Jim Oliver's Smoke House, Lodge & Campground, Monteagle, Tennessee - site #26 - water & electric - shady sites not level - level sites not shady - on top of Monteagle Mountain (2100 feet) - clean place.

June 5, 1985 - 47

1 - First night of 1985 vacation - Overniter Campground - Russellville, Arkansas - no site # - full hookups - very small place - level sites - nearby gas station with arcade.

April 26 - 27, 1985 - 45 & 46

Greenleaf State Park - site #A9 - Joe, JJ, & Jeff (& Gidget) - water & electric - site ok - many here are better - this was last site available when we got here at 10:00 pm - apparently the "Wheels Deals", a square dance club, is here - took 2 walks down to the lake and several other short hikes.

April 6, 1985 - 44

Holy City, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, OK, near Fort Sill.  Easter Pageant started at midnight.  In big field, no hookups.

April 5, 1985 - 43

Park Plaza Trailer Court - Lawton, OK, site #28 - only 15 amp elec, no sewer, took two hoses to reach water - old mobile home park - next to "Doe Doe Park" in Lawton, first night with Gidget.

April 1, 1985 - 42

Red Oak, Oklahoma - Hawkins house - Nettie Hawkins funeral - Joe Hawkins, Suzanne (Hawkins) Pentz, Mary Ellen (Hawkins) Duggan.

November 23 - 24, 1984 - 40 & 41

Red Rock Canyon State Park - Hinton, Oklahoma - Site #4, Area 4 - full hookups - see 6/2/84 - poor tv - on 11/24/84 came up out of canyon to watch OSU/OU game.

November 21 - 22, 1984 - 38 & 39

Midwest City, Oklahoma - 405 Draper Drive - Tresa Magerkurth's driveway - visiting to celebrate Tresa's 70th birthday & Thanksgiving - Joe, Charolette, & Jeff the first night - all four of us 2nd night.

November 3, 1984 - 37

Grand Lake - Lot 68, Heather Valley, Lakemont Shores - nice, level, trees - Joe, JJ, & Jeff.

October 27, 1984 - 36

Kaw Lake - site #9 - McFadden Cove just west of dam - small campground near lake - lots of trees - nice, but limited facilities - enroute to Bartlesville from Stillwater - electricity - pit toilets - this site is not level.

October 26, 1984 - 35

Keystone Lake - site #A32 - Salt Creek Cove North - west campground - see night of 10/6/84 - enroute to Stillwater for homecoming parade and football game.

October 18 - 20, 1984 - 32, 33, & 34

Beaver Lake Campground - site #106 - Rogers, Ark. - pool, tennis court, water slide - pull thru site - on hillside with trees - interesting campground - site #106 is very far from bathroom - cheap rates - close to "Ozark Mountain Music" show.  Tresa Magerkurth was guest.  Frances Crain was passenger both ways.

October 6, 1984 - 31

Keystone Lake - site #A32 - Salt Creek Cove North - west campground - close to swimming - close to playground and basketball goal - good antenna clearance - good tv - Joe, Jeff, and Darren Cottom - electricity - Jeff & Darren slept in our new 2 man tent.

September 14 - 15, 1984 - 29 & 30

Compton Ridge, Campground, Branson, Mo - site #42 - indoor pool, nice store, good playground, tennis court - (next time get site #35) - very nice - Frances Crain was guest - visited Silver Dollar City - went to Grapevine Opry music show.

August 31 - September 1 - 2, 1984 - 26, 27, & 28

Eureka Springs KOA, Eureka Springs, Ark - Site #73 - large swimming pool, 10 foot diving board - clean restrooms - expensive.

July 13, 1984 - 25

Cutty's Campground - North Platte, Nebraska - site #66 - full hookups - some trees - windy - miniature golf - swimming pool.

July 12, 1984 - 24

Devil's Tower KOA - Devil's Tower, Wyoming - site #2 - full hookups - no trees - good view of Devil's Tower - nothing special about campground - hamburger place & game room - swimming pool.

July 10 - 11, 1984 - 22 & 23

Colter Bay Campground - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming - site #70 - full hookups - plenty of trees - reasonable spacing - nice.

July 7, 1984 - 21

El-Mar KOA - Missoula, Montana - site # E-5 - very large campground - full hookups - petting zoo

July 3 - 6, 1984 - 17, 18, 19, & 20

Many Glaciers Area, Glacier National Park - site #40 - no hookups - fantastic view of Grinnell Mountain - heavily wooded campground - somewhat isolated sites - fantastic place - went to campfire talk on the four life zones in the park (prairie or transitional, forest, subalpine, arctic alpine)

July 4 - took 7 mile hike along Grinnell Glacier trail at 8:00 a.m. - returned at 2:15 

July 5 - 2 hour horse ride to Cracker Flats & 3-1/2 mile hike to Redrock Falls

July 6 - Joe & Jeff took 15 mile hike to Iceberg Lake & Ptarmigan Tunnel - Charolette & JJ took two boat rides & walked 2-1/2 miles to Grinnell Lake 

July 1 - 2, 1984 - 15 & 16

Waterton Township Campground - Waterton National Park, Canada - very nice - full hookups (15 amps) - almost surrounded by mountains near Waterton Lake - nearby waterfall - nearby small town - took boat trips on lake to USA (Goat Haunt, Montana).

June 30, 1984 - 14

Great Falls KOA - Great Falls, Montana - site #101 - full hookups - very nice campground - extensive planting of trees & complete sprinkler/drip irrigation system in place - very well laid out - great campground - we bought grilled steaks & hamburgers - store open until 2:00 a.m.

June 29, 1984 - 13

Sheridan KOA - Sheridan, Wyoming - site #14 - full hookups - thick gravel on roads - good, big bathrooms - game room upstairs - somewhat crowded - Onan generator quit working today.
